1. What was the goal of this Marketing Presentation and Ad project?

The goal of marketing presentation and ad project is to clearly articulate and communicate the marketing strategy and objectives for a specific product, service, brand, or campaign.

2. Explain what the most challenging part of this project was for you and why? Reflect on your creative decisions and the reason for the intended creative decisions.

Honestly what was challenging part of doing the project would be the ads we made for the presentation because we had to create our own ideas of what type of ad what we would do for a company. I honestly believe that it was a great idea for us to work on because it gives us a great  opportunity to let everyone do what we wanted to do for a product.

3. Do you feel you were successful?

Yes, I did something that I honestly put a lot of work on and made me think of different ways to create my 3 ADs for Rare Beauty Products. I loved that I made my own ideas and brain storm what exactly what i wanted to do for the ads. For the Final ad thanks to my professor help it really helped to make my ad stand out for the product.

• 1. Who is the speaker and what was the topic of discussion?

The Speaker that took their time to have a conversation with the class is Otonio Lujan that works for a company called Icasa events.

• 2. What do you understand about Marketing and Design after listening to the speaker?

What I learned about marketing and design is that to have someone to scrape data as well go

online and scrape data of businesses. Not only that but the go to websites where their clients like Facebook and Instagram, and TikTok.

• 3. What is a major point that stands out to you about advertising and/or design based on what you heard from the speaker?

What I have learned more about the speaker's Advertising/Design is wedding Venues to be honest that really got my attention since I like paying attention to details especially for weddings.

• 4. Do you understand more about where we are today with Advertising and/or Design after listening to the speaker?

Actually, yes because the point of advertising is to show off what exactly what you what to sale towards your target customers and designing the ads is giving us the chance to create our own and learn how to create ads.

• 5. What other questions might you have for the speaker that you would want to know about?

The question I have for the Speaker is how you become an Interior Design? So far that I have noticed is beautiful Venues and I have seen apartments that so cool and have amazing taste in fashion.

• How did you begin to design your Page Spread?

To design a page spread, you typically begin by considering the overall flow and layout of your publication, then planning the specific elements for the two pages.

• 2. Did you consider grids and columns to best design your composition choice?

When designing layouts and compositions, especially for web pages or other digital interfaces, grids and columns are fundamental tools.

• 3. When you applied a grid did it help to design the Page Spread? 

If I am being completely honest grids make it easier for users to find what they need by providing visual cues about where things are on the page.

• 4. When would using InDesign be the best option? What features did you find are very useful for using InDesign? 

It would be best creating layouts for multi-page documents, particularly for print projects like magazines, books, brochures, and catalogs. If I am being honest, it would be the paragraph and character styles because I feel like it is one of the easiest things to do but like playing with fonts is a lot of fun especially doing your own design of magazines.

•  What was the most challenging part about designing the monogram in each of Adobe Apps?

Honestly the challenge that I had to face to create the page was to actually make it yourself and create the buttons and the logo. Not using any company like we had to create our own and spacing I was having a hard time with that, but I ended up getting the hang of it. 

•  Did you understand how to finalize a project for Print Ready use? 

I somewhat understand it from what I remember is that if we are doing print and Ready we should be set 300-600 PPI and if we are scaling our image has to be higher resolution and if we aren't sure how it will print, we can always recommend test print a portion of our work to confirm the print quality.

• Why a final PDF so important?

It is really important for us to do PDF because it preserves formatting, guarantees consistent viewing across different devices and platforms, and offers secure sharing and archiving options.

• What did you already know about Advertisements?

What I already knew about Advertising is that it means just to show people clothing or phones and shoes basically show people what other people are selling in this world.Not only that but also show the things in paper or in the web,TikTok ,youtube, Instagram and even Facebook.

• As a Designer what do you find important when designing an advertisement?

What I find important is to make sure you are showing off the product of the client's things and make sure it pops off how they wanted it or help them brain storm if they ever wanted to change some thing with the advertisement.Also to make sure to grab people's attention and help out the client's company to become bigger and brands identity and business goals.

• Where are you with your Graphic Design experience today?

I may know somewhat of Graphic Design sadly I had to take a break due to medicaid reason but hopefully today I can refresh my memory and hope to learn back again.Finally I can get back into drawing and using  Adobe illustrator and InDesign.

• What courses have you taken and how do you feel about your Graphic Design experiences?

I have some experience with InDesign and Illustrator during some courses and so far I have been liking it and creating some things that make me feel like I can do things and create my own designs.Also been learning what to do and how to fix my mistakes and get better at using Indesign and Illustrator.

• What do you hope to learn in this Advertising course?

What I am hoping to learning from this course is everything so if I ever need to Advertising for a client or anyone that needs my help I will be able to help as much I can.Honestly I just wanna learn for myself if I ever need it for me in the future and for streamers or YouTubers.
